A few weeks after the great two-day seminar on legal terminology in early November 2016, I attended yet another seminar in Ludwigshafen on the same topic held by the German Federal Association of Translators and Interpreters. This time it was about German company law. The seminar was presented by Holger Knoblauch, who is a German lawyer and a court-certified English-to-German translator.
After attending 3 seminars on company law – a two-day seminar on British company law, a two-day workshop on Brazilian company law and a one-day seminar on German company law – I’m even better prepared for new challenges as a legal translator.
